Central Oak Elementary School

Families, we have a special event for you today. If you usually wait in the parent pick-up line, we encourage you to wait in the secondary library instead! (The library is the building between the high school and middle school, right in front of our guest parking). We will have a sign in sheet to walk your child over to the library if you'd like. We want to help you with any resources you might need, and there's also some helpful information from the Latino Agency that you can check out. The event starts at 1:30 and you can stop by whenever you can until 3:30 PM. --------------------------- Familias, tenemos un evento especial para usted hoy. Si normalmente esperas en la línea de recogida de los padres, te animamos a esperar en la biblioteca secundaria! (La biblioteca es el edificio entre la escuela secundaria y la escuela intermedia, en frente de nuestro estacionamiento para huéspedes). Le ayudaremos a llevar a su hijo a la biblioteca para que no pierda su lugar. Queremos ayudarle con cualquier recurso que pueda necesitar, y también tendremos información de la Agencia Latina. El evento comienza a la 1:30 y puedes pasar por allí siempre que puedas hasta las 3:30 PM.

Students in PreK through 2nd grade at Central Oak Elementary are having their very own March Madness tournament with books! Their teacher, Mrs. Fudickar, has read 16 special books called the Redbud Read Aloud books over the past few months. The students have chosen their top 8 favorites, which they call the Elite 8. Now they're going to keep voting to decide which books will make it to the Final 4, the Championship, and finally, which book will win the March BOOK Madness! ------------- ¡Los estudiantes de PreK a 2do grado en Central Oak Elementary están teniendo su propio torneo de "March Madness" con libros! Su maestra, Mrs. Fudickar, ha leído 16 libros especiales llamados "The Redbud Read Aloud" en los últimos meses. Los estudiantes han elegido sus 8 mejores favoritos, a los que llaman "Elite 8". Just a reminder, we have Early Release this Wednesday, February 14th. The elementary school will begin dismissal at 12:30 PM. This means we will not have STREAM that day.
