The students, families, and staff are exceptional, and their dedication, kindness, and support create an environment I am proud to be part of each day.
Being part of this community has shaped me both professionally and personally in meaningful ways. I am thankful for the encouragement, collaboration, and shared commitment to student success that I experience here. One of the greatest joys of my work is watching former students grow throughout their school years and eventually graduate as confident, capable adults. Seeing their progress and celebrating their successes never gets old.
Crooked Oak has had a lasting impact on my life, and I am incredibly grateful for the relationships, experiences, and memories built over the years. I cannot imagine a better place to show up each day, and I am honored to continue serving a community that means so much to me."

We hope you enjoyed a restful and meaningful Thanksgiving break with family and friends. As we return to school, we are excited to jump into a busy and joyful month of learning, celebrations, and special events.
On Tuesday, December 2, and Wednesday, December 3, students will take the STAR Reading and Math assessments. These tests show us how your child is growing and help teachers know what support or challenge each student needs. Please remind your child to take their time and do their best. We will be recognizing students who show growth this semester with special incentives. A good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast are essential, and we appreciate your support in helping students feel ready and confident.

Esperamos que hayan disfrutado de un descanso de Acción de Gracias tranquilo y significativo junto a sus familiares y amigos. Al regresar a la escuela, estamos emocionados por comenzar un mes lleno de aprendizaje, celebraciones y eventos especiales.
El martes 2 de diciembre y el miércoles 3 de diciembre, los estudiantes tomarán las evaluaciones STAR de Lectura y Matemáticas. Estas pruebas nos muestran cómo está creciendo su hijo/a y ayudan a los maestros a identificar qué tipo de apoyo o reto académico necesita cada estudiante. Por favor recuérdele a su hijo/a que se tome su tiempo y haga su mejor esfuerzo. Reconoceremos a los estudiantes que muestren crecimiento este semestre con incentivos especiales. Una buena noche de sueño y un desayuno saludable son esenciales, y agradecemos su apoyo para ayudar a los estudiantes a sentirse preparados y con confianza.
