Central Oak Elementary would like to congratulate Ms. Kylee Weaver on being selected as the Oklahoma VFW State Teacher of the Year. We are very proud of her and thankful for all she does.
Central Oak Elementary Library received a grant from the Oklahoma State Department of Education through Donors Choose. The grant was for 90 Sequoyah books for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students to participate in book clubs. Students from each grade level signed up to read three different books throughout the Spring Semester. Ms. Daniella, Mrs. Fudickar, & Ms. Walters are having so much FUN with the students!
We would like to congratulate our fowl friends on the completion of their new home. Bring on the eggs. 🐓🥚
Our chocolate bar sale is in full swing at the elementary. It is a sweet time to buy chocolate bars.❤️❤️❤️

This Week in Sports
Due to weather and road conditions we have decided for everyone’s safety to cancel school for Thursday, February 2nd. Be safe and we will see you on Friday.
Daevion Hill
As of right now we are planning to have in-person school tomorrow, Thursday, February 2nd. We will be out early in the morning to evaluate the impact of any additional precipitation that comes in overnight. According to the National Weather Service, the chances are only slight for anything that may affect our area. We will make an announcement as early as possible if any changes are necessary.
February 1st, 2023 Daevion Hill signed his national letter of intent to play football at the University of Central Oklahoma. GO BRONCHOS!!
Thursday, February 2nd is our spring picture day. Elementary students may come out of uniform on that day.
Crooked Oak Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 31st due to weather. This will be a virtual-remote learning day. Stay warm and be safe.
