Central Oak Elementary School

TAG Students had a field trip to the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History, exploring exhibits on dinosaurs, Native American history, and Oklahoma's environment. This experience enhanced their understanding of science and history while igniting curiosity for learning.

We will truly miss Mrs. Ruby Murphy and Mrs. Kalli Strong who will retire at the end of this school year.

Ruby Murphy, who has dedicated 30 years as our PE teacher and heart of so many student experiences. From the Turkey Trot to bowling, skating, and countless enrichment activities, she has gone above and beyond to support students and help them grow into their best selves. She has been at every game, event, and celebration, always cheering the loudest for our students and our school. Mrs. Murphy is Crooked Oak’s greatest cheerleader, and her impact and legacy will live on in the lives of the students she has inspired.

Kalli Strong, our first grade team lead, has served our students for the past seven years with immense dedication and high expectations. As a master teacher, her impact is evident throughout classrooms, teams, and in the overall growth of our students across the school. Her leadership and commitment have made a lasting impression on our community, and we will genuinely miss her.

Our school will never forget these two remarkable individuals! Congratulations on an amazing career and we wish you a relaxing retirement!
