This Saturday Crooked Oak AFJROTC was a part of the Fiesta De Las Américas Parade! They walked the streets and showed the citizens of OKC what an amazing drill team we have. Thank you to all the cadets who participated, you all did amazing and did a great job of representing our school!
Congratulations to Mrs. Romero on her Love's grant award! She is a new teacher to the district and off to a wonderful start. Thank you for your dedication to our students!
Crooked Oak once again displayed their school spirit for the 3rd year at the Fiestas de Las Americas parade! We were thrilled to see a turnout of over 60 students and families, and we felt tremendous support from the community as we showed off our amazing AFJROTC, High School Cheerleaders, Middle School Cheerleaders, girls Soccer and girls Basketball teams.
Thanks to the effort of all dedicated parents, coaches, principals, directors, and our superintendent for their efforts in making this event possible every year. Additionally, we want to acknowledge the hard work put in by the girls' soccer team, girls' basketball team, and honor society, who dedicated countless hours to decorate our fantastic float. See you in January for the Martin Luther King parade!

¡Nuestra escuela mostró su espíritu escolar para el tercer año en el desfile de Fiestas de Las Américas! Estábamos encantados de ver una participación de más de 60 estudiantes y familias, y sentimos un gran apoyo de la comunidad al mostrar nuestros increíbles equipos de AFJROTC, porristas de secundaria, fútbol femenino y baloncesto femenino.
Se les agradece el esfuerzo de todos los padres, entrenadores, directores, y nuestro superintendente por sus esfuerzos en hacer este evento posible cada año. Además, queremos reconocer el trabajo realizado por el equipo de fútbol femenino, el equipo de baloncesto femenino y la sociedad de honores, que dedicaron innumerables horas a decorar nuestra fantástica carroza. ¡Nos vemos en enero para el desfile de Martin Luther King!
JAIL SITE UPDATE ! Thank You to Commissioner Blummert and Commissioner Maughn that listened to our requests. Superintendent Richards atteneded and spoke at the County Commissioner's meeting this morning. The proposed Oklahoma County jail site was chosen at SW 54th St and S. Newcastle Road. The site will now go to the OKC City Council for vote.

- Thursday, September 28th – Get COnnected! Are you having difficulty with Rooms/Infinite campus? We will have a come and go event this Thursday from 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM in the Oil Slick (high school) to assist in English and Spanish.
- Thursday, September 28th – Picture day!
- Saturday, September 30th – Fiestas de las Americas Parade! We will meet at Crooked Oak at 9:30 AM and plan to be back by 1:30 PM. Follow our school bus in your own vehicle. If you cannot attend, you can still donate candy.
