Tomorrow, October 17th @ 7 p.m. will be our Pink Out football game. Senior night will be at 6:30 and our Little Ruf-Nex cheerleaders are so excited to perform @ halftime! 🌟 Thank you to The Oklahoma Hall of Fame joined them as guest teachers, bringing a unique lesson to the classroom. 🎨🔬 What an amazing experience for Ms. Soto's 1st graders! The students learned about Dr. Jordan Tang, a local Oklahoma scientist and artist. The students even got hands-on with a fun art and science activity, discovering what happens when you use salt and paint to create unique effects. 🎨🧂 ----- 🌟 ¡Qué experiencia tan increíble para los alumnos de 1er grado de Ms. Soto! El Salón de la Fama de Oklahoma se unió a ellos como maestros invitados, trayendo una lección única al salon 🎨🔬 Los estudiantes aprendieron sobre la historia del Dr. Jordan Tang, un científico y artista local de Oklahoma. ARP ESSER III funds, as well all COVID relief funding, must be used to “Prevent, Prepare for, and Respond to COVID-19.” Expenditures must follow Uniform Grant Guidance (UGG), including meeting the federal requirement of “necessary and reasonable.” ARP ESSER III funding also requires that districts engage in meaningful consultation with a wide range of stakeholders to determine their ARP ESSER III Uses of Funds Plan and post the Plan on the district website with opportunity for public comment. The Ruf-Nex Academy volunteered at the Regional Food Bank this morning and packed food for over 2,700 take-home backpacks!
