Crooked Oak recognizes Mrs. Terrell for being our "Rookie of the Year". This amazing teacher has only been with us a few years, but she is doing amazing things. We appreciate you!!

To help ensure a safe and successful game day, please review the following: Players should arrive 30 minutes early wear a t-shirt and athletic shoes bring a water bottle Parents are not permitted to sit on the team bench with players and should remain in the gym with their children until dismissal. Central Oak Elementary is using a new program called DismissalSafe by Raptor Technologies to make dismissal safer, faster, and more secure for everyone. Starting *Tuesday, January 19*

Please pick up your vehicle tag at student drop-off or parent pick-up on Friday, January 9 or the following week, You can also pick up in the elementary front office.

- Please send your students dressed in approved uniforms
- Pre-Kinder, send an extra pair of clothes, just in case
- Send snacks to your classroom (not required, but encouraged)
- Breakfast ends at 8:00 AM
- Download the Crooked Oak app to speak directly with your teacher

Get those students to bed early so they have a great first week of school. --- ✏️Esperamos que tuvieron unas vacaciones fantásticas. Being part of this community has shaped me both professionally and personally in meaningful ways. I am thankful for the encouragement, collaboration, and shared commitment to student success that I experience here. One of the greatest joys of my work is watching former students grow throughout their school years and eventually graduate as confident, capable adults. Seeing their progress and celebrating their successes never gets old.
Crooked Oak has had a lasting impact on my life, and I am incredibly grateful for the relationships, experiences, and memories built over the years. I cannot imagine a better place to show up each day, and I am honored to continue serving a community that means so much to me."

Central Oak's last week before winter break! We wanted to share picture's of Kindergarten Christmas performance, 2nd Grade Production of A Bugz Christmas, and Family Fun Night.

Attention! Some Basketball Game Times Have Changed!!! This week’s basketball schedule: Saturday, December 20 3rd & 4th Girls 12:40 PM 5th & 6th Girls 11:00 AM 3rd (Black) Boys 11:00 AM 4th (Red) Boys 11:50 5th & 6th (Black) Boys Team: 8:30 AM 5th & 6th Boys (White) Team 10:10 AM 5th & 6th Boys (Red)Team: 10:10 AM It’s a Crooked Oak Showdown with our 5th & 6th grade boys teams playing each other. Please arrive 30 minutes before the game, wear a white or black shirt, basketball shoes, and bring a water bottle. Your coach will give you a jersey at the game. Entrance Fee: $5.00 adult & $3.00 child. Games will resume on Saturday, January 10 after the winter break.
