The Special Education Department is fundraising with a free dress day for $1.00 on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. The construction is anticipated to last until the end of March 2024. Construction will take place on S. RUF-NEX Seniors, Diego Sabedra, Gunnar Pierce, and Melvin Lister, were at Wichita State University today competing at the Distinguished Scholarship Invitational for the chance at $64,000 in scholarships. They represented Crooked Oak well through a series of interviews and group challenges. There will be another round of competition in the next few months with winners being announced early next year.

Our Seniors attended the annual OU TREE Conference today where they were exposed to different universities and colleges from in and out of state! Two students, Daniella and Kathleen received their admission packets on campus and Zavier Wigfall received a scholarship! --------------- ¡Nuestros estudiantes de último año asistieron a la Conferencia anual llamada TREE Conference en La Universidad de Oklahoma. Yesterday, we got to take a group of our cadets out to Tinker Air Force Base! It was an amazing experience and we can't wait to go again in the spring.

This afternoon, we were made aware of the possibility of a student bringing a gun to school tomorrow to harm another student. We have investigated the situation and all parents of the students involved, and the police, have been notified. At this time, we believe that there is no immediate threat. While we understand the undue stress and anxiety that this causes, school will be in session and we will continue to do everything possible to keep all students safe Esta tarde, nos informaron sobre la posibilidad de que un estudiante portaria un arma a la escuela mañana para atacar a otro estudiante. Oklahoma City Community College will be here on Monday, November 13, at 4:30 pm in the Oil Slick to meet with any 9th or 10th grade students who are interested in taking college classes at Crooked Oak next semester.
