Ruby Murphey, who will retire at the end of this school year, has dedicated 30 years as our PE teacher and heart of so many student experiences. From the Turkey Trot to bowling, skating, and countless enrichment activities, she has gone above and beyond to support students and help them grow into their best selves. She has been at every game, event, and celebration, always cheering the loudest for our students and our school. Mrs. Murphey is Crooked Oak’s greatest cheerleader, and her impact and legacy will live on in the lives of the students she has inspired.
Our school will never forget Coach Murphy and all she has done for our learning community! It just will not be the same without her at Central Oak.
